The Pointon York SIPP can be used to invest in a wide range of commercial property, freehold or leasehold, both here in the UK and abroad.
These include:
- Offices, factories, warehouses and shops
- Land and commercial forestry
- Dental surgeries and vets practices
- Hotels, leisure complexes and nurseries
Please contact us if the type of property you are looking to buy, or develop, is not included here. Providing the property (or development) is commercial, our property team will be happy to discuss the details of your proposal however novel or unique.
Residential property
Other than in very specific circumstances; for example, where a commercial property includes “live-in” accommodation for key workers, the Pointon York SIPP cannot be used to invest directly in residential property.
Residential property includes but is not restricted to houses, flats, holiday chalets and other dwellings. Similarly we cannot consider land or woodland that lies adjacent or near to your own (residential) property.
